Stock your work in our shop!
If you are a queer creative based in the southwest, you can stock with us! Shelf space is free, we just take a 20% fee on every product sold to help us meet our costs. If you don't sell anything that month, we don't take the fee!

Perform with us
We have performance nights every month in 2025 and are always looking for new acts! We welcome all types of performance (within reason, our insurance won't cover fire breathers, sorry!) so if you are queer and want to celebrate your craft with the Plymouth community, sign up! We can occasionally pay a small fee to one performer a month but this is typically a voluntary gig.

Become a volunteer
Want to build your CV, support your community, or just have a quiet office space every so often? Join us as a volunteer in our shop! There isn't much footfall so it's a great opportunity to get your own work done away from home.
We also have opportunities for people to help out at markets we sell at, and to write or illustrate blog posts for those based further afield (or just not up for in person work!)
Participate in research!
We are incredibly invested in what our community thinks and needs. Every few months, we do some informal research to see how people are doing, any gaps in the support we (and other orgs!) are providing, and check that we are doing what the community needs. This helps shape the future of Queer Out Loud!
We also work with academic partners to do 'formal' research, like our upcoming project with Bath Spa to look into the intersection of queer/disabled sexual experience. Focus group call outs will be going out soon!
